Essie Nothing Else Metals

Hello Lovelies! I'm sure you have seen or at least heard of Essie's Mirror Metallics collection. I recently picked up  the lavender one called Nothing Else Metals. Application was a bit streaky and a little clumpy when I went over an area, but the metallic payoff was good. This is two coats of Nothing Else Metals.

This collection reminds me of the Avon Mirror Shine collection that I posted a while back here (beware...it's when I had my nubbins lol). They have that same metallic finish. I actually like the formula of the Avon Mirror Shine's a lot more.

Have you seen or tried Essie's Mirror Metallics collection? Any thoughts?

  6. I actually grabbed all of these except the gold because it was sold out haha. I had a target gift card and I had nothing else to buy! But this one was my favorite of them all, I wore it all during camp and so did my co-counselors and even some campers! I usually don't like metallics all that much but I really loved this color!

  12. I JUST bought the silver metallic polish. I am eager to try it, though I do fear the streaking aspect. Usually, polishes of this nature do streak but I will just have to make more of an effort to apply as best as I can. =)

    1. Ooh good luck! I was hoping the formula of these wouldn't be as bad since I do have a few other metallics that didn't give too much trouble...I'm hoping to have better luck with the blue one I got! I hope yours turns out great! :D

  19. I didnt consider purchasing any of the mirror metallics but you make them look good!

  20. I passed on the whole collection. I think it was because they called it "mirror metallics" which gave me higher expectations that it would be more mirror/metal like than just metallic.

    1. Ahh yea, it would have been way nicer if it was more "mirror/metal." I think the formula could have been better too. I'm glad I didn't get all of them! :)

  29. I saw that collection at my local Sally. Disappointing that it's streaky. Essie usually goes on really smooth.
