I think this is one of my first times layering glitter...I may have done one other mani, but I was pretty amazed about the turnout of this one! I layered on Models Own polishes Aqua Violet and Purple Blue, then applied China Glaze's Prism (which pretty much took over my nails lol) and then topped them off with China Glaze's Luxe and Lush from The Hunger Games collection. In real life, the glitter is so sparkly! I couldn't stop staring at my nails. Most of the sparkly-ness is defintely from Prism. All the multi-shaped glitter in that polish and the entire Prismatic collection are so dazzling!
Wow! Definitely a successful experiment! I love how it almost looks like one single, awesome polish (:

DeletePretty! I've only layered glitter a few times (mainly because I don't want to deal with the removal) and they turn out being the sparkliest thing ever lol I love staring at my nails when they bling.

DeleteThe glitter definitely took over!! But it looks great! :) I didn't like the prismatic collection very much when I saw it in stores but I LOVE it here. I can't even see the L&L in the pics, it just looks so sparkly and lovely. Thank god for foil cuz this would be a beotch to remove!! Haha.
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks! Oh I know...glitter removal is a thing I never look forward to haha
DeleteHey are those the ones you got from me? So glad you are loving them!
ReplyDeleteYea! The Purple Blue :D I wanted to get the Aqua Violet from you but it had sold out so I think I got it from ebay haha. Thanks!
DeleteWow, so sparkly beautiful! I don't layer glitter too often because of the removal :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks! You're so right! I think that's why I didn't try this for a while haha
DeleteOooh, this is one thing I haven't tried yet, but it turned out wonderfully on you! Prism definitely takes over most things, but I can still see hints of the other colours underneath.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jayne! I'm glad you can see hints of the other polishes haha
