China Glaze Magnetix Attempt with "Pull Me Close"

This is actually my second attempt trying out China Glaze's Magnetix. The first time I tried, nothing much happened, or I would accidently touch the magnet to the polish. I was looking forward to the star-looking design, but it didn't turn out as great as I thought. I still think it has a nice effect...it just needs a bit of perfecting. I may have to practice using it...Have you guys tried these yet? Any successes? Fails like mine?

  1. I haven't tried any of these. I didn't realize that all three magnet designs were on one thing! That is such a great idea! :D This polish is a lovely colour!

  3. I haven't seen these in my Sally's, so I don't have them. I'm not sure if I'll get them either. They seem too difficult to work with. It shouldn't be so difficult. I hope you're able to figure it out.

    1. Yea, I think they could have been a little better. My sister had better luck with them. She said she had to put a thick layer of polish and it looked better. I'll probably try that out...

  5. Okay....maybe the $10 isn't so bad since it looks kind of cool. I've never tried one but I would imagine that they'll need some getting use to.

  9. I havent tried the China Glaze magnetics, I do have two of the Nails Inc magnetic polishes and I had the same problem, I would accidentally touch my nail with the magnet and ruin it..it was so frustrating, thats prob why I only wore them a couple times...I don't have patience for that i guess haha. I really like how China Glaze gives you options for different effects with it though, I think my fave look are the diagonal waves.

    1. Yea! Very frustrating! I do want to try again...I just need to try when I have more patience haha. Yea, it is nice that they give more options than just the lines. I agree, the diagonal waves turned out nice. It was simple :)
