Butter London "Rosie Lee" Swatch

This is one of my very first Butter London nail polishes that I got for Christmas from two guy friends (Thanks guys! If you read this lol). This color is called Rosie Lee. It's a straight up glitter polish. On my nails is about...3 or 4 coats. I like the way glitter polishes look, but the only reason I dislike them would be, like I mentioned before, (and which all you know when dealing with glitter polishes) is the removal. Such a pain lol! This color is really pretty though. What do you guys think of Butter London polishes? I'm not really sure what I think of them. They are a bit pricey so I don't think I'll be buying any myself...The quality seems about the same as any other glitter polish I've tried, but I do like the color.

  5. It looks really good on you! I don't like the texture of some glitter polishes. Love how they look, but I don't like the "rough" feeling on my nails. Have you tried the foil removal technique to getting the glitter polishes off? I wrote about it last month:) http://glitterglossandglaze.blogspot.com/2011/12/q-glitter-removal-foil-method.html

    1. Oh thanks :) Yea, I don't really like the texture of this one. It looks like I just poured loose glitter on my nails lol. I haven't tried the foil removal yet (I was too lazy haha) but I will probably use it in the future.

  6. I am actually not a butter london fan. I think the formula should be better. I don't own any because of that. I can only imagine how hard it was to remove all this glitter! Love the red though!

    1. I absolutely agree. It requires too many coats...the price isn't justified with these polishes...and yea, removing the glitter wasn't fun haha

  8. I have two Butter London polishes because I was obsessed with getting my hands on The Black Knight. I also grabbed No More Waity Katie while I was at it, they're both really pretty but honestly aren't worth the price. Its not a cheap quality polish, but I've had much better formulas from other brands Haven't bought any more because there really haven't been any other Butter London's I've seen that I really really want....I'm sure if they come out with something amazing I'll get it, but its not a polish I will frequently buy.

    1. I agree. Both of those Butter London colors you picked up are great colors, but for the price? Not worth it. There are definitely way better polishes for better prices. And yea, they're not cheap polishes, but there's nothing really special about them haha. I'm sure I wouldn't buy any myself.
